BLEACHER REPORT
Rebuild. Restore. Reinvent.
REBUILD.
Following B/R’s 2.0 app launch in February 2025 and a subsequent reorg, my remit expanded to include design leadership for Bleacher Report, with a focus on strengthening the experience and reconnecting with what mattered most to fans.
We began by understanding where the app was falling short: analyzing App Store reviews, conducting qualitative user research, and assessing what had changed from 1.0 to 2.0. These insights helped us identify the most pressing user pain points and prioritize fixes that would make the greatest impact.
RESTORE.
With a clear roadmap in place, we began bringing back the features users missed and loved. I saw this as an opportunity to elevate the experience as a whole—improving the UX, refining the UI, and revisiting the design system to establish a stronger, more cohesive foundation.
The goal was bigger than restoring features. It was restoring users’ trust in B/R.
REINVENT.
As we rebuilt the foundation and restored the experience, I also pushed us to look ahead: how could B/R evolve to better serve the next generation of sports fans? That meant exploring new ways to connect fans with the teams, content, and communities they care about, while building on what makes B/R distinctive. The ambition was to move beyond recovery and help shape B/R’s next chapter.
